She always said "when you are old and alone, like me, then you can sit on the nice furniture." Her point, of course, was to encourage my priorities, and to not seek after things, which in the end just become things to sit on or look at. Faith, Family and Friendships are what we need to focus on. The Lord provides a roof over our heads, food for our stomachs, and clothing for our bodies. We are blessed to have these things.
